About the Team: The Center for Population Health is dedicated to advancing delivery system reform, payment reform models, accountable care organizations (ACO), and patient reported measures (PRMs) at the national, state, and regional levels. The ACO team within the Center for Population Health partners with organizations such as the Engelberg Center for Health Care Reform at the Brookings Institution and the Commonwealth Fund to advance accountable care and develop measures to support value-based payment. The team conducts research and analysis on the development of accountable care in both the private and public sectors and the impact of payment reform on payers, providers, and patients. The team is also piloting new payment and measurement models with leading health care organizations and conducts data-driven policy analysis to inform national, state, and regional legislation.
About the Position: The Project Manager will:
?In partnership with the Brookings Institute, lead and coordinate project activities for the Brookings-Dartmouth Accountable Care Organization Learning Network, a collaborative focused on supporting the development of accountable care organizations.
?Manage cutting edge research projects focused on evaluation and implementation of accountable care and related payment reform initiatives.
?Forge relationships with key external stakeholders including hospital executives, physicians, policymakers and leading academics working to advance accountable care.
The successful candidate will:
?Possess strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of political processes in government and organizations;
?Master?s degree plus five or more years of professional experience in project management and/or health policy environment required;
?Proven ability to interact with all levels of the organization, expertise in leadership and team building, multi-project planning and management of projects at varying levels of complexity, and an aptitude for problem-solving and strategic thinking.
